VP – BI & Data Analytics, Abu Dhabi

Job Description:-

• Working with the CIO, you will create a vision of a data-driven enterprise that makes sense to the Executive Team and Senior Business Stakeholders.
• Work with stakeholders to identify and mobilise value adding data analytics and business intelligence projects, including scoping, resourcing and ongoing management (e.g. identify data integrity issues and ensure they are remedied).
• Defining the Big Data Strategy and exploiting data insight opportunities including AI and predictive analytics.
• Working with Senior IT Leadership and business stakeholders to prioritise data and analytics initiatives that support the business plan objectives while delivering cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Have an excellent understanding Big Data opportunity, BI and Data marketplace and associated technologies and solutions.
• Hands on Leadership of a BI & Data Analytics team, able to get into the detail, step back and challenge the business.
• Proven experience in Business Objects and best in class analytics software, including dashboards, score carding and visualisations on both desktop and mobile devices.
• Expert experience and understanding of Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive and Prescriptive analytics.
• Proven experience in transforming and optimising fragmented data assets to an optimised central data factory/data lake.
• Experience of analytical use of data to understand key business drivers and underpin strategic and tactical decision making.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Industry experience – Travel: Airlines (Commercial & Cargo)/ Airport
